Then how come they dont do all the messaging first and set the agenda. Why not put the female empowerment and equality to some use.

Maybe it's the fact you refer to us as 'birds'

    What a fail argument.

They don't do that for the same reason they don't like you chasing them - they are not interested.

So should I message or not message? Could I just make an account on one of these apps, cast my net and just wait?

This statement on its own almost tells the entire story and solves the riddle. Maybe if you didn't refer to them as birds they might take more kindly to your advances

Perhaps, OP, you're just looking at 'difficult species'; the RSPB has loads of tips and tricks on their website which you might find useful - good luck!

    Message.

But if they don't reply or ask you to stop, then stop. Don't harass people. There are 3.5 billion females in this world. I am sure you will find one.

They might reply when you stop calling them "Birds". Unless you really do want a parakeet or an eagle or, I know, a pigeon. Also girls/women/females probably don't want to be hit on for the same reason they aren't "hitting on you". They aren't interested. Leave them alone, especially if they clearly reject you. As pretty much all other people who have responded before me have said.
