Title+ could any of you compare the range of the OCR GCSE Science B grade boundaries of the 2016 grade boundaries to the ones in the previous years for the higher tier?
June 2016: http://www.ocr.org.uk/Images/323540-...-june-2016.pdf

Thank you.

It is defo not fair. Chemsotry has remained the same as always but physics and biology have plummeted
Biology 2015 123 A* = 50/75 and 49/85
And now 2016 123 A* 60/75 and 61/85??? Like wth and last years was easier
Physics 2015 123 A* 52/75 and 54/85 and now 2016 123 A* is 63/75 and 59/85

Last year the grade boundries.Paper 1= A* - 57 ,A 47
Paper 2 = A* 66 ,A = 54

This year the grade boundries Paper 1 = A* 61 ,A 51
paper 2 = A* 60 , A 49.

I think they are fair because the paper one was relatively easy but still think that it should have been 2-3 marks low.Decrease in grade boundries of second paper may be due to lot of people doing bad at it and the paper seem to be hard.

it kinda makes sense to me that physics gb went up because i found the exams (definitely not easy), but a bit less difficult than the practise papers from previous years, but then again that was just me i dont know how others felt

I agree, that paper had so many chances for stupid mistakes, definitely more than 12 marks worth! Thank god p4p5p6 is 59/85.
