Peverell photos 06-07 + Info

Hey guys. I saw a thread by my flatmate craig_16 talking about peverell. I suggest reading it if your moving in later this year:
http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=396712

But heres a few photos of my room at the end of my year in Block H Flat 45 Room 1. (Castle court corner block... obviously the best flat there! :P)
I know when i was planning on moving in all i could find were the crappy photos on the ntu website. Yes yes i know it looks awesome! lol. But its mainly to show you the size and what to expect like shelves n so on. (The chair is my own)
Not everyone decerated their room like mine, as your not allowed posters on the walls n so on but hey... i got into enough trouble there i didnt care. Anway, enjoy the photos:
( Yes they are in fisheye and a bit blury but what do you expect :P )

I'll upload more of the kitchen and so on if anyone would like me to?!
You naughty boy! Hanging posters on the walls instead of the poster board! UPP fine! :p:
Hey I'm thinking of going Trent in 08 and if i do i would be aiming for the peverell halls but when i had a look on the open day it worried me a little because it looked like you didnt get a lot for your money compared to other unis the rooms/kitchens/bathrooms seem quiet small and old

they ok to live in? any good points u could tell me to lighten my mood? or any bad points? just seem aware of them

Thanks

you right about not getting alot for your money. smaller rooms and kitchens than others.
But perfectly fine and a great laugh to live in.

The only plus of it is your on campus 2-5mins away from every building
Yeah, but on the negative side, when there's a bomb scare on the campus, the people in Pevvers have to evacuate too, no matter how little they've got on :p:

Other NTU halls have slightly bigger rooms for less money, though they will inevitably be situated closer to the city centre than to Clifton.

I'm in Peverell in September. Very close to where you were actually I think, H block 44? I'm wondering, what's the 'penalty' for putting up posters? Whats the rule on mini fridges?

Cool, yeah your in the flat that 1 of my mates was in, the floor bellow mine. Not to bad.
dont worry mate - as you can see from the photos of my room, i covered it with posters. Plus we were the only flat that had posters in our hallway... No fines, and they'll probably just ignore it, just try not to leave bluetack marks on the walls.
Mini fridges again you'll get away with, most people did.

The only thing they have a hissy about is heaters, which i had, i got it taken away from me right towards the end of our stay, i managed to ge away with it for ages, most people do, just be cautious though on room inspections that they do every other term.

Cheers for that mate.

Any idea if my room is facing the front like yours? From the diagram when choosing a room I assumed my room was facing the back, however I could be mistaken. My room is H0445 I think. I'm on the ground floor.
mate u think that ud mind putting all the best photos uv got on here....just give us a little insight...from a students point of view.......

im in g block ground floor.....u know ne1 from there?
