I've finished my A levels and didn't apply for uni last year. My plan was to apply for English at Oxford this autumn but I didn't get any A*s, and my final English exam module was B grade, though I got full marks in my coursework. I do meet the minimum entry requirements (AAA) but I know most Oxbridge applicants will exceed this. Do I still have a worthwhile chance?

You've got 5 choices, so unless there are 5 which you really cannot distinguish between then sure, go for it!
Part of me wishes I had applied (mostly because I ended up hating Surrey after I had already applied so it was a wasted choice, and it would have been cool to see if I could have got in to Oxford )

Yes! You should go for it. You meet the entry requirements so have a shot.

And you're still at Surrey now?
