    GCSEs:

    Maths - A*
    English - B
    Chemistry - A
    Biology - A
    Physics - A
    Textiles - A
    Geography - B
    French - B

    UKCAT:
    VR - 540
    QR - 710
    AR - 680
    SJ - Band 1

Currently doing A Level Chemistry, Biology and Geography and predicted an AAB but I can probably talk to my teacher and get it bumped up to an AAA.

Please tell me honestly if I have a shot of getting an offer if I apply with those grades. I feel like I'm kidding myself and it'll just be a waste to apply because I'll be turned down immediately when I'm competing with people who have all A*s and As.

Yes, with those grades, you are more than capable of applying to do dentistry. Different Unis have different entry requirments and with the B in English, you might not get into some.

    Hope this helped

Hi guys, my name's Kitty and I'm hoping to apply for dentistry (2017 entry). I had low target grades of C's at AS but exceeded them getting B's so A grade targets shouldn't be a problem for A2. I sat my UKCAT today and got an average of 625 with band 2 in SJ. I've done work experience and am working on a good personal statement. Ideally I want to apply to Queens in Belfast but I'll go to any dental school that'll take me. I'm basically just looking for any advice generally and, bluntly, want to know if I need a reality check as to whether I actually have a chance of getting in!😅
