I'm starting an English Literature course at University of Exeter's Penryn campus and need quite a lot of pretty expensive books. Does anyone have used editions that they'd be willing to sell for less?

Try Ebay, Abebooks, Amazon and maybe some charity shops too.

As a first year, it's not a requirement to get the EXACT same copy as what the unis ask for. Especially if it's a lot of money that you can't fork out.

Definitely get them second hand though if you know you won't be needing them again because I find it incredibly hard to sell books to lower years or online for any real value.
