    Hallo!
    I want to apply for either bio medicine,medicine,biochemistry,l aw,PPE,Land economy or geography - which maths course would be more useful and easier.

    One school offers:
    C1
    C2
    C3
    C4
    S1
    S2

    The other sixth form is offering:
    C1
    C2
    S1
    S2
    M1
    M2

    You can't do maths A-Level without C3 and C4.

    No you can't. It literally says on the edexcel specification that C1, C2, C3 and C4 are compulsary units for a full A-level in mathematics.

    Go to page 10 and you can see what units are compulsary and which are optional for a full a-level.

    As for which one is more useful, I dont think any of the additional/optional units will particularly help you for the courses you want to do, so choose whatever you find easiest. Personally, I found statistics easier than mechanics at a-level, but if you really enjoy physics you may prefer mechanics. Stats is more remembering a bunch of formulas for probability, whereas mechanics relies on you being able to apply your knowledge of situations more.
