ok so I had sex with my boyfriend 3 times last thurday and once on saturday night. we used a durex extra safe condom each time and used a new one each time. but my last period started on the 23rd of july and i've still not go one this month. I know im probably being parinoid but could i be pregnant? or could it be that either the sex its self delayed my period or could it be due to 2 weeks travelling for the first part of august? ive had light cramps a couple of times but its not lasted more than a few minutes and not got sny stronger like they usually do during my period.

please help if you can im kind of freaking out.

Getting your period late could be a result of an irregular period (depending on your age and how regular your cycle is) or other factors such as:

    weight loss/ weight gain
    stress
    sleeping poorly
traveling across time zones as this affects your hormones.

I am very irregular, my periods stopped for more than 3 years - they came for 2 months then went again after I lost my v, haven't had them now for about 60 days (I'm not pregnant!) My advice would be to go to the doctors, just to be on the safe side - I'm sure that they'll have a lot of helpful advice and support too. I won't say "don't worry" because I am such a worrier myself so it would be hypocritical of me, but what I will say is try to focus on other things as best you can, such as hobbies/interests. Best of luck to you though

If you're new to sex, the stress of intercourse on that area can actually delay your period.
Try taking a test to keep your mind at rest?
