    Hi all,
I just received my IGCSEs and I got 6.5 A*s (Edexcel Project is the .5), 5 As and 1 B (CIE IGCSE Additional Maths...). Do you think I can get into Oxford CS?

Well done with your GCSEs! Your performance is typical of successful candidates, so you have every chance. We are looking for candidates with strong mathematical skills, so work hard in Mathematics, in particular.

Your exam results will be contextualised with your school's performance.

If you went to Eton then no. If you went to a state school that barely got their students the 5 A*-C grades needed, then yes. You've got a pretty good chance.

That's the TL;DR version. There are other factors such as the course you're applying for and any work experience, volunteering and all of that jazz you need to consider. If you're talking only GCSE results, you should be fine.
