Hey, guys, so I just got my results and to be honest, the history grade has me down. It was the one I was the most nervous/excited to find out about and it turns out I got a 'C'.

A 'C' isn't that bad but I just checked the grade boundaries (I'm doing Edexcel) and found out I was off a 'B' by one mark. I'm furious with myself since this isn't the first time this has happened.

I actually was one mark off an 'A*' on my English Lit paper. But I sent that off for a remark and got it back in two hours with no changes whatsoever. /:

So, my question, is it worth it getting History remarked? I always thought English and History were the most subjective papers, but if they didn't even bother checking over my English one (I doubt they did in two hours), then should I re-send this time?

    Thanks!

Whilst History and English are the must subjective exams and are the most likely to have their marks changed, it's still reasonably unlikely to get any mark change. But 1 mark.. I think it's worth a re-send.

omg I'm on the same boat as you and I picked history a level at a prestigious college. I always got As in my mocks and loved the history exams (I was also on edexcel). However, I came out with a shocking C grade. I am sure there is something wrong with the marking.
