Ok so i had protected sex a few times last week.. My period was due on Monday and now its thursday and theres no sign of it... I worry a lot and im very scared.
I have a few cramps and have been very moody lately but NO period..

Also, is it normal for your urine to sting a few times after your first time after sex?

I'm not sure if I have a UTI or if its period coming but i keep going to the toilet and and feel quite bloated..

    Please help

Sometimes periods can be a little late and it is probably nothing to worry about. However, if you don't get your period within the next week, then you should take a pregnancy test. Condoms are 99.9% effective so it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant.

I found that my urine and general area down there stang a lot after my first time, but I also found out I was allergic to latex condoms as well. Drink plenty of fluids it may help with the stinging, but if you think you may have an infection please go and see your doctor they can get really uncomfortable and sometimes painful.

Hope you feel better soon x

UTIs will string when you wee, and you'll find that you're going to the toilet more frequently and nothing is coming out, or very little. Up your water/cranberry juice intake, or you can buy treatments for cystitis.

Stringing could also be general 'stretching' of the vagina if you've never used toys before, or if you weren't aroused enough.

It could also be a reaction to condom lubrication.

Stressing can delay your period too. Depending on how long you've had periods for, they can take years to regulate.

You used condoms, and you were close to the date your period was expected = it's highly unlikely that you're pregnant.

On the other hand, stress is notorious for delaying periods.
