I can't find any information on how many people there are per flat in Freemen's Common, Nixon Court and Opal Court

Also, are these the best places to apply for when starting first year?

Hi! I lived in Nixon last year and some flats have 6 people and some have 10. Four flats per floor. Not sure about the other ones but I think its similar.

I thought at first I was missing out by not being in Oadby, but Nixon is great because you're closer to uni and town. So no need to pay £300 for a bus pass! Just stagger into uni at ten to 9. They might not be as pretty and new as John Foster and the like but that hardly matters as a fresher.
