I got the grades C E E E is my AS this year and i'm freaking out because I thought I did well in the exams as well as getting B/A grades through the year. I was very
annoyed with my grades especially because all my friends got A's and B's. when i
went to re enroll for next year, my teacher told me that AS grades don't matter and
that nobody would see those grades because I was worried about applying to
university. Also, that the grades don't count towards the final grade at the end of A2
because all my subjects are the new specification. The subjects I have taken are
sociology, History and English combined but now dropped statistics. I asked about
resisting but my teacher said it was no point as my AS exams would be carried to
A2 and would be a clean slate. Is this true because I've heard that the AS grades
count towards 5% of the overall A2 grade and 50%. Please can someone tell me
what others have told about the new system or any advice to help me get better

If you carry any reformed AS level to A2 the grade you get at AS no longer counts, sorry I don't think I can give advice as I don't take those subjects
