I was going to say beat your ex down.. but then realised you were a guy (i'd only have been joking anyway)
hmm.. i don't really have any useful advice except to just try to place more importance on friends outside of school with people that your ex can't get at.
exes can be the most horrible people, especially if they are either bitter or jealous and will genuinely try to wreck your life in some way or another. my ex still thinks she can get me back even though she knows i'm blissfully happy wth my current partner. i reckon she just felt the need to tell me this coz she still wants to feel she has power and assert it when it actually just makes me think of her as pathetic. You are better than your ex and you are stronger and you can get through it... just look forward to moving on and meeting other people either outside of school or when you leave school.
p.s. go for it with thisgirl and if she won't hear your side of the story whatever your ex and her friend tells her then she isnt worth it anyway!

Because some other dude fancied her and basically tried to split us up by telling her liessss.

I've actually got a girlfriend lol (few weeks ago) and YES AMAZINGLY shes from school. Shes the only person who ignores those idiots and actually likes me for who I am (+ shes fit)

I disagree with everything shes doing, but I can emphasise with her as well...A few months ago my gf split with me and I'm having real trouble getting over her, and tbh I'm probably not making her life very easy by constantly questioning her about stuff. 7 months is a long time, and only now, after about 2 months myself can I feel myself posibly making progress. Everyones different and she might just be really struggling to come to terms with being single.
What do you mean by, you can't get close to people? Because if you mean close, as in, to enter another relationship, you must understand that you could be breaking her heart. Surely you must care for her somewhat (after all you went out with her), and if you do, do you really want to do that.

Fair enough, she has gone to far. I guess you really need to talk to her about it, if thats possible. Didn't want to annoy you, just wanted to possibly show you her side of things. But 7 months is way to long to still be destroying your life theres no excuse for it really, just me still being a bit messed up. I haven't done anything like what it sounds like shes doing, but it's definatly going to make me think about my conduct with my ex!
