I know that it is recommeded that you don't take your car to university, and I am planning on not bringing mine with me. My question however, is what do I do with my existing car once I go? I like to have a car for when I come back home as public transportation where I live at home isn't reliable. I am interested to hear what others did with their car. Give it to a family member? Sell it? Store it? Let me know what you think would be best and what did everyone else do

    Edit:
I don't have a drive and there is very limited parking outside my house

Can you not just leave in on your drive or something?

Sorn it and store it off road. Nobody can drive it though if it's Sorn. I.e you've notified the Government/DVLA/Police etc that it's kept off road and not used (not even to move).

If it can't be kept off road, you'll have to insure it as usual, and have family look after it.

I did Sorn mine whilst at uni. My uncle owns a 200ft barn so I kept it there.
