My As level results were AAAD. The 3 A's are in maths, German and History and the D in economics.

I want to study history & politics at Uni but I'm not really sure what Uni's to apply for, my sixth form is predicting me 3 A*s based off of my 3 A's (obviously I'm dropping economics lol).

Technically this would mean I could apply (with an actual chance of getting in) to pretty much anywhere as even Oxford and Cambridge don't want more than 1A*.

But I'm a bit worried about how much my D would hinder me in getting into a good uni, if anyone could give me some advice on how much the D is likely to damage my application to a good uni (like a Russell group uni or oxbridge) that would be great thanks
