Would people retaking GCSE maths 2016 be affected by the new grading system Watch

    I failed my GCSE maths for the 2nd time and i have to take it again in November. Would my grades say A - C or would it be 4 - 7?

    They would stay at A-C. Your final opportunity to retake would be June 2017.

    I got to retake Eng Language :/

    And they grade them 4-7 I hear but employers will find this strange.

    Mine are in letters as well and employers will likely see you resat a subject due to the numbers been there and this could possibly be negative.

    A*-E, the November 2016 Maths exams will still use the old spec.

    If you're taking it in November (last chance to do so) then it will be letters.

    I got a B in maths and I missed an A by a couple of marks; will I be able to retake this November?

    (PS. why did they have to make the grade boundaries so ridiculously high this year!?
