Why is sex forbidden in Islam? What if I don't plan on ever getting married? Watch

I'm not somebody that particularly cares about marriage as a girl, and I don't think I ever will get married. But the thing is, if you love somebody as much as you do, and are in a long-term relationship with them, why do I need a piece of paper under law to have sex?

Because holy books are outdated :s
You can still be Muslim and sleep with somebody! Religion shouldn't be taken 100% at face value (and fundamentalism is actually where a lot of the world's problems come from, this lack of obviously ok freedom being an example).

I'm a Muslim and I've made love many times with only one girl I was in a loving relationship with. Don't regret it at all.

Then you will die a virgin. Unless you decide by the time you're 40 that you've had enough of this nonsense and quickly find a man to sleep with

If you're unhappy with it, don't follow it. Are you referring to Islamic law?
