Got my results back today and found out that I got a C in English Language... not bad and not too annoyed I guess.

I wanted to find out the raw mark score for Eng/English Lang Unit 1 Tier H and I got 119 as an Equiv/UMS Score. According to AQA's website, that is a 43 in terms of raw marks and the grade boundary for a B for that particular bit of the Eng Language module is 43 but I got a C next to it?

I'm slightly confused as to whether I am at fault or the school is to be honest.

I was thinking of getting a remark anyway but I'm considering not if this is the case.

I just looked on AQA grade boundaries for you.
    it is actually 45 for an b and 40 for a c
Your grade is correct for a c as you did not reach the 45 to achieve a B

Are you looking at the right year? on the AQA website's grade boundaries it says a B is 45 marks

Never mind, you are both correct. I was looking at the NI version (I think Northern Ireland?) and its 43 for that one and 45 for the other
