Right of the bat my Gcse results turned out to be a nightmare for me. I got 5c's and 3b's in reality I am out of my mind.
I got C in Maths and my teacher told me before with my work ethic I was reaching A and A* but then later I started hanging out at the back of the class and not paying attention. Can I resit Maths, English and Science even if I passed them or have to go through another year. I can reach A* and I know I believe in my self mentally but at my GCSE I really let go of my self and really didn't help my self and now I have limited opportunity and cannot do my desired course. So I was wondering what if I can waste 1 year by doing Biology, Ict and something with Btec and next year drop out of Btec and pick Maths and Physics. I know my GCSE are really bad and I can't go to top university but I believe I can at least get a degree in Aerospace engineering. I never revised for my GCSE and I know its my fault.... Will my option work. Please reply quickly I need help

i've never resat an exam so i don't have any personal experience with this. however, i would really suggest talking to your teachers about resitting. if you put in as much effort as you are able to and you revise hard, it seems like you'll be able to do really well ! you clearly believe in yourself, and so do others as you were predicted high grades. i hope everything goes well for you

Yes you can resit, however you might not be able to just change your options so drastically a year in. Also there's a notorious difficulty jump for maths A level so you might just not be suited to it tbh

Yeah, I know IGCSE is much harder, but I started hanging out with the bad company and maths came very naturally to me and I was always top of the class but I think my depression played a massive part in my failing. I have very high expectations of my self even more than my parents do. And know I'm more depressed and not even eating, I cant even talk.
