Okay so these are the results I received this morning...

    English Literature - A*
    Religious Studies - A*
    English Language - A
    Geography - A
    Additional Science - A
    Core Science - B
    French - B
    Mathematics - B
    Art - B

The A-Levels I plan on taking are English Lit, Philosophy and Ethics, Psychology and Biology.
I'd get on quite well with the other three, but do you recon I'll be able to manage A Level Bio with an A in Additional and B in Core? I mean, I was 2 UMS points off an A but it still would have been a low A. My memorisation skills are pretty good and I do have a strong interest in the subject, but I mean, is that enough to get a good grade in the A-Level?

It's all about working hard... If you put the effort in, you'll get a good grade.

You should be fine, I got a B at GCSE in biology and got an A overall at A2. I even didn't like the subject that much but it is mostly memory and some application. Well done on your results btw

I've just finished my AS year and I took Psychology, Biology, English Literature and Health and Social Care (which I'm dropping) and I actually only got a C in GCSE biology, but I managed to get a C at AS too so I'm content with that. You have way better GCSES than me so I'm sure you'll do just fine! The amount of content in biology increases tenfold from GCSES to AS so it's basically all memorisation
