I am in year 13 now and i have decided i want to do medicine at university. My GCSE grades weren't too good, but they did allow me to take Physics, Chemistry, Maths Mechanics and Psychology

Chemistry is the essential subject for most med schools and as you're doing physics and maths as well I doubt there are any universities that wouldn't want you on that basis. I took biology and in hindsight should perhaps have taken something else instead of or in addition to. Don't worry about it

Generally speaking, the great majority of universities require or prefer if you have a level biology, check this link: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/cont...el-requirement
