I think that i am not going to be accepted into any universites due to my low AS grades and my fail in maths. However, i feel that i have the potential to achieve higher grades in my overall A levels if i resit my AS and possible pass in maths gcse. So if i get rejected from the university i want to apply to can i do clearing from the same uni?

If you have been rejected by a course during the course of the year, they won't be interested in you in Clearing, but you could apply for a different course to the same university if you wish. Universities can make an offer to you conditional on your passing your GCSE maths if they wish.
