You would, of course, need the required A Level grades to gain a place on a law degree. If they also have GCSE requirements then you would need to meet these. Resisting a GCSE whilst doing your A Levels is fairly common and not usually an issue but you would need to check the entry requirements of the universities you are interested in and check to see whether they accept resits.*
