friend dilemma ....

Miss A is good friends with Mr X and Mr Y
Mr X and Mr Y are also best friends and have been for a long time
Miss A has been spending more time recently with Mr X cos Mr Y has a part time job working over time everyday.
Mr Y doesn't like this (although they are all friends) and it seems as if he is jealous. Mr Y has told Miss A that he doesn't like Miss A and Miss X spending so much time with each other.
Miss A doesn't want to cause a rift between Mr X and Mr Y.
What should Miss A do ?
(Miss A is me btw

confused? sorry, this is the simpliest way I can put it.
Thanks
This looks more like an algebra question than anything else. :s-smilie:

Why don't you all meet up when he has time off, and then not meet up behind his back when he's in work? That's bound to make someone feel a bit estranged, especially if it's a part time job - that is, he's not exactly working all day every day, he has plenty of time off, but you're spending more time with the other guy anyway.

(By the way: "I am friends with two guys who are also friends with each other, one of whom has recently got a part time job and feels jealous as I'm spending more time with the other", for anyone who can't read letters.)

RS's Solution:
Unless romantically compelled to, spend less time solely with X. Get in touch and spend time with more friends, including X and Y together when they're both free. If friend availability is a problem, then get a job or volunteer at a summer scheme.

I would say you should tell Y either F or G because X = Z. Not quite sure which.
Eh!? Maths was my worse subject, sorry.
But from what I can gather, if you're not with either of them, neither has any right to dictate how often you see the other.

thanks!
don't worry there is no logical formulae to this dilemma...
