    Hi,

It would be difficult to get an extra mark in physics, since science subjects generally have a pretty strict mark scheme, however since you're one mark off it is worth a shot, just to get closure (so to speak). I would go for it if I were you.

English, on the other hand, is a much more subjective subject than Physics and I would definitely go for the remark, because you may find the examiner feels you should get an extra mark or two.

so, overall, yes! remark when you're so close to the next grade is a good idea. However remember to keep in mind that you may not get a mark - it really does depend on mark scheme and examiner and partly luck

    hope that helps :-)

I'd remark both. The worst that can happen is that you lose marks. But because you're on the upper tier of an A, you won't fall by a grade, so your grade will at worst remain at an A. And yeah I agree with marsbar3007
