I am going to stay in Liberty Park - I hope it's nice there, but I only heard good things about it so far.

I went to check it out but they seem WAY too strict. The guy showin us round seemed more like he was trying to 'warn' or even scare us away lol.

Just told yesterday that this is where i'll be staying - sounds good about the free broadband - but am i right in thinking that there is no tv, ah well maybe we will all talk more then!

I'm considering here....not yet sure!! I'm nervous but really excited at the same time!!! Who is definately going? It would be nice to get to know people before I dive in head first!!

I'm staying at Liberty Park, it was all they had left! Hope it's nice?? Has anyone actually been to see it? x

Hi, i've been to look at it, I went in february and spent most of my day looking at all of the places to stay in Liverpool, the rooms at Liberty Park are slightly bigger than other places, thats about the only difference, everywhere seemed the same to me.

Slightly bigger rooms? That sounds really nice because till now I got really used to live in my flat here in Austria.
I mostly heard nice things about 'Liberty Park', it is very close to the university, it is not too expensive, plus the free broadband internet. So where is the hook with it?

On the website they state that there is a tv point in every room - so maybe one can rent a telie somewhere (or get a tv card for the computer).

Not staying here but the downside to it is the location, just watch out when your coming and going and try not to walk around on your own at nights as Kensington aint exactly nice! But its the same with all the private accomodation up there so dont worry about it too much and just watch yourselves when you get there.

Huh...I thought it was situated in Edge Hill, on the border to Kensington. But thanks for the info.
