I've been electroshocked.

Hi,

I was installing my new DVD player on my TV when I touched it and it gave me a shock. it really hurt but only lasted for about 2 seconds. Since then, (I don't know if this is psychological) my chest has been hurting me and my fingertips feel very erm .. i don't know how to explain it. It feels like theres a buz waiting to come out when I touch something (yes, that sounds ridiculous)

Anyway, should I be worried? Should I go to my GP? Apart from that, I feel okay.

It's likely all in your head. If you're that bothered though go see a GP.
I dunno, maybe you've still got some latent charge left over from the shock. I dunno if that's possible, I'm no physicist.

I've been shocked a million times, its nothing to worry about  I wouldn't touch anything for a while though.

That's pretty much what happened to me when I touched an electric fence to see how much it hurt (lots by the way). The sensation lasted a couple of days, but disappeared by itself.

I felt like that after I hooked a battery pack up to my braces (don't ask..). I was fine after a few hours though, so you should be ok. Maybe take the DVD player to be looked at though in case it's faulty.
You'll be fine! I stuck my fingers in a socket in Sweden and it did me no harm.

Beep.
