Many people have given me different views on the number of A* at GCSE required to do Law at LSE. I just got my results and got 6 A*s 4 As and 2 Bs. I really want to do Economics at LSE so would this be enough to get me a conditionL offer. I still have to do my A-Levels, so anything can happen but I really want to have something in the bank!

An average student in LSE would have the vast majority of their GCSE grades being A/A*, with typically 5-7A*s. So you're doing good. But like you said, anything can happen - it really goes down to how well you do in your A Levels. Continue this effort and you'd stand a pretty good chance being accepted into Economics at LSE.

Thought you might find this page useful. It shows what students got for their GCSEs and A Levels, and whether they have been accepted into LSE or not.

    Best of luck!
