How does maintenance come into my bank account? Student finance never asked for an account number or sort code.

You obviously need to provide an account number and sort code.

Didn't you do this when signing up on the student finance site?
    Have your payments been confirmed?

Call them and speak to them and they'll walk you through where to add the details on the site. Or they might just add it for you over the phone but they'll probably ask you to do it on the site.

You'll probably want to hurry up with this to get your money on time as they're going to be flooded with people asking questions.

The SF application does ask you for your bank details. Either you missed that page by accident, or you haven't actually applied for the Maintenance Loan.

Have you had a statement of how much Maintenance Loan you will be getting? If so, then you can just log back in to your SF application and find the page which lets you add your bank details. You can add them yourself.

If you have not had a statement of your Maintenance Loan entitlement, then phone SF and get them to check your application. They will tell you what to do in order to get one.
