What societies did you join at university and what were your experiences?

    I joined a lot of the ethnic ones, including my own but a lot of them seemed to just stick together, I wasn't that welcome. Then again, it was City University so no surprise there

    Laser tag, swing dance, kayaking, couple of course related societies, will probably join a couple others next year. Was gonna join the stitching society but it was pretty clear that as a guy I wasn't welcome there.

    Drama society: lots of fun; really helped me come out of my shell, also got laid a lot there. Overall good experience.

    I want to get laid, and i do like acting but I doubt I would be given a role.

    Hey! I joined the Korean Culture Society in De Montfort University. I found it nice to find people who had relatable interests. So far, it's been great and am now going into my 2nd year. It however sucks now that I can't attend cos I have lectures until 6pm on the day it is held.
