Nope .. she's not chavvy at all .. her clothes and her music etc. aren't

I'd say Lily Allan was a chav but not Kate Nash and Amy Winehouse but know what you mean ..

ella ella ella ..

i don't think you can judge chavvyness based on what area they're from.. :/

Kate Nash sings/talks in a kinda chavvy accent, I thought...

well everyone downloads songs these days . . i just prefer to listen to old skool songs on you tube personally. prefer old skool to todays stuff. and i can avoid it cos i dont have sky and i dont listen to radio one.

i've only read on the net that its been no 1 for 8 weeks. but ever since they got rid of TOTP last year from the TV - i've stopped following the charts . . have no idea who's in or outa the charts for the last year . . . again i dont listen to it on sundays on radio one

Same here! I don't listen to the radio during term time, and I rarely go clubbing - even when I do, I'm not paying attention to new songs.
No TV either... So I'm quite lucky that I get to escape all of the nasty songs that would normally prompt me to switch off

I don't think so. Can non-Brits be chavs? I don't know and I'm pretty certain she doesn't live on a council estate in Manchester.

i wont recognise new songs when i go into a clothes shop say, so my reflex action is to switch off. the only new singer i've cotton onto is mika,

and on terrestrial the only channel they have new stuff on is channel 4 i think . . popworld which is on at 7 in the morning or something . . .i stopped watching that and T4 aaaaaages ago

Rihanna is no chav. I'm offended by that comment, I find her highly attractive, and to say I like a chav is totally uncalled for :-P

I stick by what I said.

Does it actually matter?

does any of these threads in "chat" matter? :p:
I don't really associate Rhianna with Chavs. Even though they probably listen to her, most chavs listen to whatever's played on the radio a lot (and bad remixes of songs sped up to a billion BPS).
Have you heard about her bringing out an umberella range for totes? Lame.

Nah i wouldnt say she was a chav at all.
