pregnant whilst on the pill?

This might be stupid but I'm becoming really paranoid that I'm pregnant, despite having been on the pill now for 5 months.

I had sex with my boyfriend 3 times this month without using a condom and just relying on the pill. I have taken the pill almost exactly the same time every day (minus 1 or 2 where I was a couple of hours late).

For the past week or so I've noticed my discharge is a bit heavier, and panicked a bit when I searched google and found this is a sign of early pregnancy. I do seem to itch a bit 'down there' too..could all this just be due to erm vigorous sex? Because it did sting a bit afterwards.. :s-smilie:

I wonderd how many other people completely rely on the pill? and speaking from experience how reliable do you find it?

(also I know that sex without a condom does put me at risk of STD's..i know my boyfriend has only ever had 1 other partner so i suppose the risk isnt too large, but yes..next time i will be using a condom..)

alot of people rely on the pill alone.
youre being over paranoid :smile:

you have one or two symptoms i would be suprised if you are pregnant.
if you need reasurance take a test 2 weeks after your next period is due

i rely soley on the pill. and i worry sometimes, i even did a test. Prob just down to the rough sex lol. And some of the symptoms you mention seem common on the pill also

I've known too many people that have fallen pregnant on the pill to EVER trust it 100%
