getting over him

liked a guy for 3 years and now realised i seriously have to find out how to get over him. he just ignores me (most of the time) but i cant help but be happy when i see his name on msn etc

Are you sure he doesn't feel the same as you, have you actually told him how you feel?

After a while you just accept it and move on.

Or tell him how you feel.

Try pinning up pics of him to a dartboard if you programme your brain to hate you will find it easier to get over him.

time isnt an option cos its killin me

no he defos doesnt like me, when we do go out somewhere (not v often) convo is ok, but sometimes its hard to get him talking and most of the time he just ignores me lol.

dartboard is a gd idea but i dont have a pic of him ;P

and msn is also a gd idea but ive already tried that but i kept adding him to ask him things about stuff i needed to know eg school

theres no point in asking him out cos i know he'll say no and i'll feel much worse lol

yeah, but its stuff about science in which none of my other friends are in so i tend to be in his group.

You'll feel much worse if you don't ask him out and you're still in love with him two years from now! At least it would be final... and you'll never know for certain if you don't try it.

Yes you may feel much worse FOR A WHILE, but at least then you're not harbouring some tiny last speck of hope inside you that something might happen, and you can finally realise it's NOT happening, it's never happening, and finally accept that and move on.

What do you need to know about school that you can't find out from teachers? Delete his name from msn. You need to ask him something - then text him.

well... thats a good idea, apart from the fact that i dont have his mobile number, and its on a night when we're not in school and i dont have my teachers mobile numbers either (LOL) so i can't ask them then.

I really don't hold a flicker of hope and the other reason i dont wanna ask him out bcos i dont want to go out with him. i know weird i really like him but dont wanna go out with him lol.
