Hello, my GCSE grades are 2A*s, 3As, 3Bs and 1C. I didnt really try at gcse and know that i will do a lot better at a level. Will these GCSEs stop me from doing medicine?

Those are great grades!! Top Universities like Cambridge etc. Only want a C in sciences and maths they want to see the A-level work the GCSES are worthless essentially at Uni. Level they make you take an exam if you want to enter in on medicine and they combine that score with your Alevel grade so GCSES don't really come into it 😊 Good luck at your A-Levels

It'll be tough but still doable. When selecting to interview people they weight your GCSEs and UKCAT and typically you'll be needing 8 A*s/As. If there's any disadvantage you've had - family income, under performing school or first generation make sure to use it to your advantage.
