So basically I missed a year of school because I was in hospital, which meant that when I returned I dropped a few subjects (citizenship and RE) in order to catch up on the others. This means that I only have 9 GCSES, whereas I see others have 10/11. I managed to get A* in all 9 GCSES though. Will it matter to the top unis that I am aiming for eg Cambridge?
Is 9 GCSES enough? Watch

Nope. 9 A*s would put you in great contention for Cambridge or Oxford. Don't worry and now focus on smashing your A levels.

Who cares if u didn't do as many as others do?? I mean getting A*s in all the rest is amazing- it really shows u worked ur socks off to do well. Nobody would care how many u did and the fact that u missed a whole year but still smashed is tremendous Well done!!! And there is nothing to worry about AT ALL they only really want maths and English anyway so keep working hard and u will get what u want!!!Last edited by Starlight2000; 26-08-2016 at 16:44.

As long as you have 5 GCSEs at A*-C you'll be fine.
