Looking at the UMS tables, it seems 100 is the D boundary in Literature so you were just one mark into D - you would have needed 120 for a C.

In Language it looks like 160 is an E and 200 a D, which is weird as you say you achieved 172 and got a D.

Check the tables and see yourself. iGCSE's are called 'Certificate in English Language / Literature'.

Are you sure it was an IGCSE for Lit?
