Ahhhh Finntroll. That band is absolutely hilarious. I still can't tell if they're actually being serious or not. I'm not sure which answer to that question is more amusing.

Just listen to music and it counts how many times you've played something per week/month etc.

Aye it's just a program that monitors what you listen to, compiles statistics and displays them on a website, updated weekly.
Its a good website if you happen to listen to alot of music while on the computer.
It gives you recommendations on what to listen to as well, and then there are the radio stations. A lot of the music I listen to now, I found out about through last.fm originally.

The radio stations come in so handy. I've just got a new laptop and no music and the radio stations play me everything I've ever scrobbled. I'm a subscriber just so I can make use of all of the stations....and find out who's lurking on my profile haha

can you listen to certain songs?

For instance, if i wanted to listen to Karma Police by Radiohead. 'cos from what i've seen, you can listen to an 'artists' station, but can't choose songs....?

Anyone know if you can delete songs you've listened too? It's just my sis uses this computer and amongst Radiohead, Neil Young, Pixies there is Stacy Orrico, Girls Aloud etc.../././/...
^ you can't pick exact songs/artists to listen to...no.
but you can delete songs you've recently listened to - go to your page and next to recently played tracks click "edit/see more"

oh ok. It's a shame Last FM can't tell what music you play on your record player, my music list looks pitiful at the moment.

I'll add the people on here as soon as i work out how...
