    If Universities are asking for a DDD in BTec applied science for certain courses, what exactly does that mean? The school I will enroll with tells me applied science is double and I do another single.

    Okay lemme rephrase this as I was in a rush previously, The course I am hoping to do at university says I need "DDD in Applied Science.". I'm about to start my AS Level but the subject I do at AS level is applied science which is a double award and I do another subject which is a single award. Does this allow me to get into the uni course?

    Ye, make sure u get DDD or D* 's , basically they want three distinctions BUT you also need it in applied science if they want it in a science based subject

    The university says DDD in applied science but I've been told the level 3 applied science which I'm planning on doing at 6th form is a double award which means I can't get 3 distinctions in the science, right? I'm also doing another single award BTEC

    Yes the extended diploma is equivalent to 3 A levels.
