Hi I need to finalise my a level/ as options next week and I'm really struggling what to go for, any suggestions?? So far I'm thinking of doing English lit, geography and government and politics but I'm not sure on the last one:/. I think I'd like to study English at a higher level so would classical civilisation be a good option or should I choose business studies which I got an a* in at GCSEs?? Or should I not do government and politics??

only choose something that interests you, you could always just do three. english is my passion and i want to study it at university, i'm taking: english lit, sociology, psychology and philosophy; this is due to all the amount of essay writing they have and the compatibility they have with english. additionally, philosophy in particular is VERY highly thought of by universities

other ideas: history or (as you said) gov and politics
