Hey guys, I'm going through my details for uni (address, phone number and all that) and obviously for equal rights etc they've asked for my sexuality.
Now, I've got no problem telling the uni I'm gay, but this is going on my student record. Who can access this? Could my parents/family find out? (I'm not out to them yet)
    Thanks guys xxx

I believe they should keep the data on a need to know basis under the Data protection act 1998 read all the little tick boxes though, and make sure you're not ticking one saying "we're gunna tell your parents yah gay"
