Hi, I'm in quite a dilemma as for my GCSEs I received 2As, 3Bs and 5Cs including 2Bs in English, C in Math and 2 Cs on my double award for Science. I spoke to my sixth form and they accepted me and allowed me to choose Religious Studies (I got an A in GCSE RS), English Lit and Sociology. However, my mean average was 41.8% and my sixth form desires 43% as the mean average yet they enrolled me as I was previously a student at the main school so now I'm wondering can my school have a sudden change of heart and decide to make me do a level 3 vocational course on induction day ? Or can they not change my course last minute unless I want to? If they do decide to change my course how can I fight my case and make sure I do Alevels ?
I'm sorry if this question was a bit all over the place as you can see I'm quite confused myself about the scenario. Thank you

I'm sure they can't just change your subjects without telling you. If they feel like you wouldn't cope with the workload they would ask to speak to you about.

As for fighting for your case you can ask them to monitor your effort and progress for the first couple weeks or months. throughout this time if you are getting horrible grades like u''s they would probably persuade you to change subjects. But if they see your are meeting your target grade like a B for instance they should let you continue with your subjects.

Almost certaonly not going to happen. No point worrying, just talk to them on Monday. If you have an offer letter for them about 6th form and it etails the A levels you wish to take, then just accept it and that will be that.

You dont have a dilemma at all, stop making it complicated for yourself.

It's highly unlikely, don't worry. It's only before enrolment you have to worry about that.

    Once you're enrolled, you're enrolled!
