    Hey guys,

I was wondering which bank I should open an account with, I'm not looking for a large overdraft with 0% interest as I won't go over my limit ( I don't drink or anything)

I was thinking thinking Santander with the free railway card as I'll be commuting in and out of central London all the time

    Cheers

I'm going with Santander - good overdraft, free rail card and high interest on your balance

If you're interested in the offers, HSBC also does a £60 Amazon voucher and free membership with Amazon Prime. But before you pick which one to go with, definitely look at which banks your town/city has locally, so you know you can pop in if you need to!

Open a student account online before you go to uni, that way you can put money in now and you won't have to worry about not having all the documents with you.

They'll just change your account to a student account. Nothing will happen to your money.

Because you already have the account with them, you just need proof that you have an unconditional offer. You should have an AS12 letter from UCAS.
