Heard medicine's extremely competitive, and this just gives me probably a false idea that they expect like full A*s especially at gcse which is easier than AS

Are 5A*s, 4As and 2B's in French and English Lit good enough for Oxbridge? Thanks for the help as I really want to do medicine and these are the grades that I got

can't wait for a few weeks after results day so these attention-seeking threads can finally die down.

Nah, you won't even get an interview with those. Didn't you know you need at least 30 A*s to study medicine?

Not Oxford. Try hard at A level for a slim shot at Cambridge, but I wouldn't risk it. In medicine, Oxbridge has no prestige beyond any other medical school- honestly

GCSEs are just one part of the application. Even with mostly B grades, it's possible to get offers (although this would limit options!)
