    depends on which profession for me
    as back in the restaurant days the job came first, then the experience followed
    the same can be said for my own dealings in handbags, alcohol, cars and other motor vehicles
    but
    I did have experience with watches, gold and jewellery before I got into dealing with them properly

    I did have experience with watches, gold and jewellery before I got into dealing with them properly (I'll admit I learnt the hard way with a lot of things like fake stones, fake gold, silver plate, fake watches and overpaying for the real thing and making 10% or less)
