I'm not sure whether to request a remark on my English Lit (WJEC) because I got 179, 1 mark off an A*, and I wondered whether I should bother with a remark to see if I could gain extra marks. I'm well into the A boundary of course and I can't see how I could have been awarded 19 undeserved marks. Should I go for it?

Your chance of a remark being successful will be harder than previous years because Ofqual has changed the way they work but English lit is a subjective subject so it is more likely that your grade could change as opposed to a subject like maths where they follow a strict mark scheme. I would suggest discussing it with your English lit teachers before making a final decision.
