Can you do A-level Biology and Chemistry with GCSE Core Science?

There were quite a few in my class who didn't do Triple Science and they struggled in Chemistry a lot compared to those that had gone through those topics at GCSE and had already been examined on it. Chemistry there is a lot of overlap from GCSE
For Biology, it was completely different, nothing linked to GCSE apart from labelling the heart, which I never learnt anyway.
If you wanna do these subjects, there are books that link GCSE to A level available, look online

That depends on the course entry requirements at your college. For example my college required a grade B in core science & A in additional science. If you had one GCSE grade lower you were not allowed onto the course. They didn't ask for triple science at all but obviously that would put the person at an advantage.

Best advice would be to ask the college/sixth form if they will accept you onto the a levels with only core science

Do you know any good sixth forms or colleges that do A-level Biology or Chemistry?
