Ok so i got 313/400 in additional science (course 4408) and i checked the ums grade boundaries and it says A is 320 (i got a B). I asked my teacher if i should get a remark because of how close i am, he said i was 20 raw marks off!!??? How does that make sence, i turned it into /100 and got 2 marks off an A? Is that how it works?
Help me understand ums Watch

The conversion from RAW marks to UMS is different for each unit, due to the different number of marks available on each paper.
The grade boundaries are reported in RAW marks not UMS. So you got 313 UMS NOT 313 RAW marks.
