I got my GCSE results two days ago and I found out a couple of my grades were a few marks of the next grade. So what do you guys think. Should I get them remarked?

Religious Studies - 2 marks of an A (Going to get two papers remarked)
Geography - 11 marks of an A* (Going to get two papers remarked)
Further Maths - 7 marks of an A*(Going to get only one paper remarked)
Physical Education - 10 marks of an A (Going to get two papers remarked)
Latin - 7 marks of a B (Going to get two papers remarked)

I'd say only RS if you had to, the others are quite a long way off the next grade

RS yeah go for it. There is literally no chance of you going up a grade for the others, especially for maths.

As the others said, Religious Studies is worth a remark but the rest aren't.

That would be bare £££ if you went ahead with it all. That money could be spent on some tutoring or resources to help you smash A Levels instead.

Unless they're important to your A-levels/further education, I wouldn't bother.

The only one with the potential to go up is probably RS, because it's more subjective, and it's only 2 marks off. The others are pretty unambiguous in terms of marking, so you're unlikely to go up at all.

Would've said the same thing. The remark system has changed meaning that marks can only be awarded if the examiner missed them prior to mark scheme.

Guys I got 1 ums of an A overall in core science and 3 ums off an A in maths. Would it be wise to same for a remark in both? I'm really disappointed with maths as I needed an A to do it in my college

Both are subjects that have strict mark schemes, and are therefore not down to opinion. So you either got the question right or wrong, especially in maths. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend a remark for either.

Only RS is worth it as you're not that close to the next grade for the other four subjects and it is easier to find a few more marks for essay based subjects. You're either wrong or right in the others

You could try RS as it is essay based but as languages normally consist of writing letters in a box you're either right or wrong plus it may be difficult to find 2 marks, there could have been some error if it was one so I would say don't get Spanish remarked especially if you don't want to have anything to do with it next year- I got a painful D for Trench when I was predicted B because I messed up with my listening exam which ruined everything otherwise I was very
Confident but as I'm not doing any languages for a level I'm not letting that upset me that much- dw as long as you've done well in what you want to do next year, hardly any universities are going to look at your GCSEs (apart from maths and English of course)

Definitely get RS remarked but there's legit no point bothering with the others since it's so far away from the next grade boundary.
