    The new AS is slightly more difficult than the old one, mainly because you do historiography (interpretations). But really nothing much has changed.

    In Y13, the coursework has become slightly easier and more straightforward. However it being linear, you take all exams at the end of Y13 so the workload is essentially double that of the old A-level. That's assuming you go through AS work in your own time.

    You do the Tudors as well? I do it as well, albeit AQA, but it is certainly the coolest topic they could have picked. Especially since the other half is the boring Cold War for me.
